StarrHacks is a high-touch, personalized coaching partnership for families seeking meaningful, lasting change. It goes far beyond traditional tutoring.

Most families begin at one point on the path and continue for 6 to 9 months or longer as skills strengthen and confidence grows.

How Coaching Works

Each session blends executive functioning coaching with real-time academic support so students can apply strategies while completing assignments, projects, and preparing for tests.

Progress happens on two levels:

Lasting growth

What makes StarrHacks different is the support that continues between sessions, so students and families never have to carry everything alone.

Preparation

anticipating challenges and tailoring strategies in advance

Ongoing Tracking

monitoring assignments and deadlines without overwhelming students

Follow-Up

recaps, reminders, and adjustments

Parent Support

updates and insights for families (included in Family Support Plans)

Families gain more than coaching sessions. They gain a partner who keeps momentum moving forward and gently lightens the mental load at home.

  • 4-Week Reset & Jumpstart Momentum

A focused reset to uncover challenges, establish supportive systems, and create early momentum.

Ideal for families who want clarity and a confident starting point before building deeper, lasting change.

Often serves as the first step toward continued coaching as students begin to experience relief and direction.

  • 3-Month Build Strong Foundations

Consistent coaching to strengthen executive functioning skills, ease overwhelm, and build independence.

Ideal for families ready to create meaningful progress and establish habits that support continued growth.

  • 6-9 Month Momentum & Growth

This phase supports deeper, lasting change as skills and habits take hold. Students develop confidence, independence, and resilience while families experience greater calm and consistency at home.

Ideal for families seeking sustained guidance as academic and life demands continue to evolve.

  • Continuation

Ongoing coaching that evolves alongside the student. This phase reinforces skills, maintains momentum, and supports independence as new academic and life challenges emerge.

Designed for families who value steady guidance and long-term confidence.

Support Options

StarrHacks offers two thoughtfully designed ways to support families with different communication and collaboration needs.

Both options reflect the same coaching experience. The difference simply lies in how much parent communication feels helpful.

  1. Student-Focused Plan

Coaching, tracking, preparation, and follow-up centered on empowering the student and building independence.

  2. Family Support Plan

Everything included above, along with ongoing parent updates, insights, and guidance to keep families informed and supported.

This allows families to choose the level of communication that feels right while ensuring every student receives the same depth of coaching, strategy, and care.

Advocacy Services

Advocacy is one of the most valuable and distinctive parts of StarrHacks.

For many families, the greatest challenge is not only what happens at home, but ensuring schools truly understand their child’s needs and consistently follow through with appropriate support.

What Advocacy includes

  • Direct communication with teachers and school staff to ensure strategies are realistic, understood, and consistently applied

  • Collaboration during PPT and IEP meetings so parents feel supported and confident navigating the process

  • Monitoring accommodations and follow-through so plans are reflected in the classroom, not just on paper

  • Bridging home, school, and coaching to reinforce systems and consistency across environments

📌 Parents often describe advocacy as a profound source of relief. It reduces the stress of constant school communication while ensuring their child feels understood, supported, and set up for success.

Limited families. Individual attention.

If this feels like the right fit, let’s connect.
